Our Priority Areas
The Estevan Community Wellness Committee was formed to implement the 2023 Community Safety and Well-Being Plan, identifying four key priorities.
Mental Wellness
Support mental well-being with accessible resources and community connections to foster resilience and a healthier Estevan.
Substance Abuse and Addiction
Address addiction through accessible resources, and community-driven initiatives that promote healing and long-term recovery for all.
Education and Employment
Strengthen educational pathways and opportunities to empower individuals and drive economic growth in Estevan.
Victimization
Decrease victimization through education, advocacy, and initiatives that empower individuals and reduce harm for a safer, more supportive environment.

About Us
Building a Stronger, Safer, and More Connected Estevan
The Estevan Community Wellness Committee is dedicated to enhancing safety and well-being in our community through collaboration and action. As the team responsible for implementing and monitoring the Community Safety and Well-Being Plan, we work across sectors to create meaningful change.
Our current initiatives include:
- Establishing a type of block parent and/or neighborhood watch program
- Strengthening natural support networks among residents
- Partnering with Southeast Cornerstone School Division, Envision, and other community organizations to promote events
- Addressing gaps in community services, including affordable transportation solutions
